Rhythm of the moment (memory), trace (mystery) of the meaning

Antonio Damasio, in his book "The Strange Order of Things", mentions that the mind combines the "moments" in a fiction and that this fiction, which is the combination of "moments", turns into "memory". There are gaps in memories. The mind fills the gaps and the eye completes it. The feeling, which is the inner map of the fiction, always remains.
